This site has been made to assist the novice and the experienced with the running and caring of their tropical fish aquariums.
A Tropical fish aquarium can be a beautiful addition to any home. It takes a lot of perseverance and patience to make it a success but once you have it is worth it.
This site will contain information about starting an aquarium, the equipment needed, tank treatments, fish breeds and plants (which fish are suited to each other and breeding information) and more.
There are many things that you must watch out for when caring for a tropical fish aquarium a few examples being:
- Water: you will need to make sure that the water is right for the fish,
- Are the fish healthy: you will need to look out for any signs of diseases and treat them immediately (See also Health & Disease page)
- The right breeds: you will need to be sure you are buying the right breeds for your tank (making sure the fish are suited to each other.)
However if you work hard and care for your fish and aquarium in the right way there is no reason why you can not have a healthy, relaxing, beautiful-looking indoor aquarium.
